HUMINT

The HUMINT CISO intelligence system may not be as detailed because of its degree of confidentiality, but it can be inferred from three sources[1];

- Official Spy, where trained CISO agents and most of them are Case-Officers to their informers

- Unofficial spy, where they receive payment and training and facilities (based on short-term objectives) from CISO to distribute information

- Military Attache System in Springmont embassy overseas

SIGINT

Springmont's signals intelligence role is under the control of the CISO and provides signals intelligence services to the police, the national intelligence service, the counter-intelligence service, the military national security service and the prosecutors' offices. In 1990s due a lack of fund, Viclane SIGINT Station operation has been stop, and it facilities abandon[2].

COMINT

In January 2019, The Swordtooth Standard reported that the CISO used a messaging app widely used by the Montian public, to record all conversations, movements, relationships, appointments, sounds and images by the app's users.

Controversy

Arrest Minister of Education, Technology and Innovation

In the early morning of July 25, 1976, a team of the Special Project Unit, ESCIO CISO raided the residence of then Minister of Education, Technology and Innovation Jeniffer Snowfield in the suburb of South Winbridge. Initial information was, Mrs. Snowfield was arrested on charges of being a foreign intelligence asset. In addition, 45 other Montians were detained and tried on the same charges, and three foreign diplomats from two different countries were also evicted.

Despite the evidence presented by the CISO to be vague, Mrs. Snowfield remains detained and fired from President Ilacqua's cabinet. The special operation known as the Yellow Sword was led by Air Force's Major Aldo Maserwitch, Air Force (retired Colonel).

Corruption of SUV supply contract

In early 2001, the Director-General of the CISO at that time, Naval Lt. General Mack Fairchurch, the Navy has been accused of abusing its power to profit by buying 348 Corndaglish Taurus SUVs from Corndaglish Auto Retailer. The $T46 million contract was almost half the price it was worth.

A report was made and an internal investigation by the CISO and an external investigation conducted by the Attorney General's Office of Springmont at the time found that Deputy DG of CISO, Major General Rix Winterforth, Army was found guilty and detained and dismissed[3].
