It operates through approximately 80 such departmental stores located in approximately 40 cities. Its products include apparel and non-apparels. Its non-apparel category includes cosmetics, personal accessories, and leather goods, homewares, electronics, books, and music. The Company, through its Website, Danford e-link, offers international and national brands in men's, women's and kids apparel; gifts and fashion accessories, such as ladies watches, men's watches, artificial jewelry, fine jewelry, handbags, fragrances, men's and women's footwear, home furnishing and decor products.

History

The first store was opened in Hawkamount, Eagleworth in 1985. The company opened its 22nd store at Port Wadethorn, Eagleworth in 2006. In 2010, it entered into partnership with Global Triton (an owner of Bluethorn Hotel Group) and opened stores in New Winhaven International Airport and South Winbridge MoneySquare, South Winbridge. An e-store with delivery across major cities in Springmont was launched in 2012, with a smartphone app in 2016. In 2019, Anwar Ltd. control almost 51% of it shares, and fired former CEO, Leo von Glockfarm and appointed their Chief Marketing Officer, Anton Grabcysky as Danford new CEO.

Global Expansion

Danford Mart aggressively targeting global airports as their platform starting with three airports in Soracana Islands, Kazakah and Trolleborg.

In June 2020, Danford Market opening their stores in Eraman 5 biggest cities; Anara, Mitra, Daulapura, Arupura and Pasirpura. They also success to grab an opportunity to setup their branch in Pemecutan. In June 2020, selected Danford Market & Danford Mart start selling Pemecutan Tabuh Mas -made beverages.

Controversies

Pahala Magazine

In Jan 2009, Danford Mart came under fire as they opted to remove Islamic magazines Pahala from their shelves and discontinue their sale. This was met with a huge outcry from the Muslim community, many voicing that they would boycott the chain store.

CEO's dismissal

Leo von Glockfarm was CEO from 2010 to 2019 and was fired on Mar 6, 2019, by new Danford Market owner Fareed Anwar for claiming his performance did not meet the company's goals and aspirations. The dismissal received widespread opposition from the union.
