Pemecutan Puri, officially Federal City of Pemecutan Puri or also know as Puri for short (Hanacaraka Latin: Puri Pemecutan; Bahasa:Kota Federal Pemecutan Puri) is the capital city of Pemecutan and also the second largest city after Ubung. It is located in the confluence of Pacung and Apuan River. Both Tegeh Kori and Karanganyar capital were located in the area. The naming of Pemecutan Puri is given to differentiate it with the nation name. When the establishment of Giri Federation commenced, the need of the capital arise. Giri Federation Constitution stated the use of an independent entity for the capital which makes them searching for a suitable candidate. Pemecutan Puri is selected as its historical value which is believe to reconnect all the division that ever occur between the states. The incorporation of Pemecutan Puri is finished in 1951. In 1978, the status of the city is elevated into Federal City which makes the city is equivalent to a state. During 2020 Administration Reorganization, the city is enlarge by merging it with its 2 neighboring municipals, Celagigendong and Pemeregan.
Today, the city is regard as the political center of Pemecutan and also the economy center in central Pemecutan. It's economy based includes government, retails, tourism, textile and luxury goods. Pemecutan Puri is served by Puri International Airport, the busiest airport in the country. Pemecutan Puri-Tambapuri Metro Area is the largest metropolitan area in the country.
