Sailfish XRGMu
The Sailfish Extended Range Guided Munition (XRGMu) was a precision guided rocket-assisted 76mm Shell (projectile) development by Ironcastle Aviation for the Springmont Navy. Sailfish are designed to be shot using the MDWeS-76G1 76mm gun system used by most Springmont Navy vessels, especially for F1301A1 vessels (Swift-class FFG). Montian Defense was initially awarded the contract, but due to issues beyond its control, Ironcastle got the contract. It was released under the name "Project Knighthood 3-99" in 2009 and will start operating in early 2019. The Sailfish is fired from the 76mm MDWeS-76G1 gun at which point the fins deploy, rocket motor would ignite and lift the munition to at least 80,000 feet (24 km) when the canards would deploy and guide the Sailfish to the target based on GPS guidance.
