Ubung, officially Ubung City (Hanacaraka Latin: Puri Ubung; Bahasa: Kotamadya Ubung) is the largest city in Ulunusa. It is located in the northern shore of Giri Island. It is also the largest city in Pemecutan with 776,348 population and the most densely populated city in the country with around 11,000 peoples/km2. Greater Ubung encompassed most of northern coast of Ulunusa and account for more than 900,000 population. It is the third largest metropolitan area in Pemecutan after Pemecutan Puri-Tambapuri Metro and Gelogor-Jematang Metro Area.

Ubung is one of the oldest settlement in the nation which have been settled from around 350 BCE. Ubung Village (Pakraman Ubung) was founded around 435 AD. It became the capital of Ulunusa Kingdom in 1351 before the capital was moved to Satria in 1665. Together with Barunajaya (former capital of Mandara Kingdom) and several surrounding villages, it was incorporated into City of Ubung in 1929. Today, Ubung is the economic and business center of Pemecutan. Port of Ubung is the largest and busiest port in the nation. Ubung's economic base includes finances, media, pharmaceuticals, basic industry, tourism and communication services. Many industries and businesses have their headquarters in the city.
